I have been working in the Strength and Conditioning industry since 2016. During that time, I have worked at several sports performance facilities, training athletes and clients of all levels. However, my passion for exercise is rooted in my high school experience, as I played several sports and participated in martial arts.
Like most kids, I wanted to become a better athlete since I wasn’t the fastest or strongest. I saw the weight room as the way to bridge the gap. In the process, I found the physical improvements and the benefits of training toward my mental well-being. It quickly became an outlet for stress and a way to challenge myself while improving my self-confidence. Every time I stepped into the weight room, I found that it represented the chance to become a better version of myself.
I went on to attend Penn State, pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. While there, I had the opportunity to be a part of their Strength & Conditioning department. My experience with their staff solidified my desire to pursue this as my career path. Seeing the practical application of our knowledge with the higher level of athletes was an invaluable experience.
Once I graduated, I moved to Baltimore to learn from some of the best in the industry, where I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
For the last eight years, I have enjoyed helping people enrich their quality of life through well-constructed strength training. I believe that strength is accessible to everyone, whether you want to make your varsity team, prepare to return from injury, or just want to be a healthier version of yourself. The process may look different for each individual, but it requires consistent effort, accountability, and an adaptive plan that meets your goals.
